2 Maccabees 3:39
Good News Translation
The God of heaven watches over the Temple; he strikes down and destroys anyone who comes to harm it."

For he who has his dwelling in heaven watches over that place himself and brings it aid, and he strikes and destroys those who come to do it injury.”

This God lives in heaven, but he guards that place and kills everyone who tries to harm it."
