"Jerusalem, Holy City of our God, he will punish you for the sins of your people, but he will be merciful to all who do right.

O Jerusalem, the holy city, he afflicted you for the deeds of your hands, but will again have mercy on the children of the righteous.

God will punish your holy city because you have sinned, but if you obey him, he will again be kind to you.
