Wisdom 2:18
Good News Translation
If the righteous really are God's children, God will save them from their enemies.

New Revised Standard Version
for if the righteous man is God’s child, he will help him, and will deliver him from the hand of his adversaries.

Contemporary English Version
If those so-called good people really are God's children, he will look after them.

New American Bible
For if the righteous one is the son of God, God will help him and deliver him from the hand of his foes.
