Good News Translation
When the priests handed him the portions of the sacrifice as he stood beside the altar with his assistants circling him like a wreath, he was like a young cedar of Lebanon surrounded by palm trees.

When he received the portions from the hands of the priests, as he stood by the hearth of the altar with a garland of brothers around him, he was like a young cedar on Lebanon surrounded by the trunks of palm trees.

Then he stood beside the altar, and other priests gave him the sacrifices to be burned. These priests stood around him like palm trees near a cedar in the Lebanon mountains.
