Loquate in Action.
By: Jeff Liautaud on October 31, 2024 | Filed in: Uncategorized- Summary: It is a deceptive practice for a search engine like Google to deny existence of a corporation with a unique name, by using a re-direct to “Did you mean “a different word.” A series of 9 complaint notifications by Loquate was submitted to Google commencing 9/18/23 denied routinely by Google through 10/4/23 and on 10/31/23 Loquate decided to publicly reply on its About Page, to the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division (DOJ) David Dahlquist (202) 805-8563, and in this blog.
Loquate’s Google Complaint Case #:5-3653000035165
For example in the series of 9 Google complaint notifications sent by Loquate to removals@Google.com regarding the Case in the last one sent 10/4/23 Jeff Liautaud founder of Loquate said. My suffering is this. I have spent my life building Loquate. Google’s redirect to “Did you mean loquat” denies the very existence of Loquate… It is as if you are rubbing out my life’s work by thwarting all 3 of my innate needs for competence, relatedness and autonomy…When one in authority over me, like Google, uses redirect tactics that thwart my innate needs as founder of Loquate, it feels like this: “I cannot sleep. I have an upset stomach. It feels like someone just ripped the guts out of my life’s work.” It is the most intense of all human feelings. Loquate and I acknowledge Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. Please reinstate a user search for “Loquate” to “Loquate,” not “Loquat.”
Loquate founded in 1970 is our “doing business as” name.
The unique name Loquate is protected by unfair competition laws. In a 17 year period commencing in 2005 and ending about 2021 with the appearance of Google Sponsored advertising an organic search for “loquate” had no redirect to “loquat.”
Today Collins Dictionary is monitoring Loquate as a new word in the English language. Submitted by gurjot2008singh – 09/11/2021, examples given by the submitter make no sense. In the first place, there is no Latin ‘loqui’ (to talk). Latin is a dead language. The Latin is a verb ‘loquitur’ meaning to speak. The emphatic form of the verb loquitur is ‘Loquate!’ meaning ‘Speak!’ Our charity chose it precisely because it was a made up name in English. For example the IRS includes Loquate in its official List IL of publicly recognized charities. Collins dictionary is mistaken to monitor Loquate used for over 50 years for evidence of usage beginning in 2021 as a new word.
Loqate another firm located in Worcester England began to compete with Google Sponsored ads whenever a Google search was made for Loquate. Confusion proliferated itself with Google AI that picked up false information from Collins Dictionary! And Google Sponsored ads managed to change the organic search for Loquate redirected to ‘Did you mean: loquat’
Then a bunch of falsified fruit from the Loquat genus are shown mislabeled as Loquate tree, Loquate hi res stock photo, and as Loquate leaves.
According to CNBC on 10/8/24 the DOJ said it was “considering behavioral and structural remedies that would prevent Google from using products such as Chrome, Play, and Android to advantage Google search and Google search-related products and features — including emerging search access points and features, such as artificial intelligence — over rivals or new entrants.”
According to Associated Press on 10/9/24: U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta ruled in August (2024) that Google’s search engine has been illegally exploiting the dominance of its search engine to squash competition and stifle innovation. He has outlined a timeline for a trial on the proposed remedies next spring and plans to issue a decision by August 2025.
(Jehovah speaks.)
I am Jehovah, Father of Jesus.
You have invoked Me in prayer.
(Yes. Often.)
Well I have answered.
Now you will do the same.
(I will write a blog at SearchCatholicBible.org as follows.)
Yes.
That is all.
Goodnight.
(Goodnight.)
(I will deny myself salt. I will fast and avoid sugar. I will lose weight. For this I pray.)
(My suffering is needed to bring the local meaning of suffering to the world. I will seek to satisfy the innate needs of all unknown Google personnel who have read my series of 9 complaints without ever identifying themselves by name always only signing as Google Team. I have spoken the truth. That is all.)
I pray
That Google may yet hear me and stop the confusion by letting a search for the word ‘loquate’ be a search for ‘loquate’ not re-directed to ‘loquat.’ For this I pray to You Father in total surrender!

Success
On 12/12/24 I sent the following to Google Complaint
Re: [0-2787000034453] Your Request to Google (Hint: Google Complaint adds a new case number each time I reply which is very confusing because if I do not use the latest case number, Google Complaint ignores my response. It also makes record keeping onerous for myself, the party complaining to Google; it also makes forwarding information to third parties like my Board of Directors beyond comprehension to many.)

It is 12/12/24. The following screen shot shows that Google removed a redirect of “did you mean loquat?”
Thank you.
Yet there is more incorrect information. For example, Ai does not include two references to “loquate.” The first reference is erroneous as shown previously. The second reference to “a software for address verification” is misleading.
Loqate is not spelled the same as “loquate” which was searched for. So how can it be a result to the search for “loquate?”
Thank you for looking into this.
With warm regards.
Sincerely,
Jeff Liautaud, President and Ceo of Loquate a charity.
This is an injustice. Praying for you
So happy to hear the news! Great work, Jeff!
Good luck! Hope you get things worked out!
Love, Beth
I am sorry this is taking so long. Stay strong and don’t give up.
I have always admired your Innovative thinking and your tenacity.
Hopefully this unfair practice by Google can be corrected.
glad Google listened
